Relative yield of silver modes
Adjusted the mc yield by a common factor which minimizes ?2 between data and MC yield (Separate normalization for each model)
Agreement is fairly poor (off by as much as 1.5) among K?, K2?, K3?
- Acceptance , Higher D** ?
There is a huge deficit of PK? when running default Pythia 5 or Pythia 6 compared to data.
- We can get correct ratio by raising diquark fraction for default (10%?) to (20%)
- Pythia 6 versus Pythia 5 has little change in relative production yields.
- Golden mode and D* ratios are independent of the diQ fraction or the Q/DQ momentum split in the target nucleon : CR (counting rules) or default (ncr)
- The diquark fraction and Q/DQ momentum split have big influences on pK? and to a lessor extent KK?
- Running parameterized HC or Shower library HC has little effect on relative yields
